Easy to sum up - SLOW FISHING
Saturday - Tried fluking at several spots in the back bay - NOTHING. Headed to the hook and picked some shorts, but only one 19" keeper.
Sunday - Started clamming for bass early - Nothing. Made a couple of drops, but only picked up a bluefish, nothing on clams. Tried a little fluking and picked at shorts with again 1 keeper. We were also boarded by the CO's. They looked in our coolers and measured our fish, which didn't take very long. They asked if we were registered and then they moved along. They also checked our bait - no fluke belly.
