wierd thing today
« on: July 03, 2007, 07:07:27 PM »
bait was frozen this morning, so i figured i would put some water into the livewell and let it thaw out abit.

opened the shut off valve and fipped the switch. heard the pump fire up but no water. turned it off and back on a few times just to amuse myself, notta. figured ok, when i leave the valve open it fills itself up when under way, so i figured i'd try that with the switch on, maybe a little boost will help it if its drylocked.

well, that did it, heard the water coming out, so i stoped and went to put the bait into the well, and behold theres a live minnow in there! how the hell did that happen? is the blades on the pump actually big enough for this, hmm, guess so. damnest thing. and its not a left over minnow form previous trip as we have not used live bait yet, so he had to get sucked up, or was chilling whereever it picks up from.

it can happen, it's a one in a million shot but sometimes a fish can make it past an impellar.

sounds like you have a nemo on your hands. ;D
