Bunker, Bunker everywhere but not a fish to be had. . .

I was out on IBSP this morning as the sun was coming up and saw large pods of bunker everywhere.  In fact I was snagging bunker off the beach and let it drop but not to be today.  The beach had loads of bunker and tons more just out of reach but no matter who you talk to nothing was biting off the beach.

There were roomers that the bite was up north off Deal so a number of the posse blew off the beach and went north.  I have not heard any other news.

Depending on the weather I will be out there again in the morning and see what is happening.

I'm aiming to be out there for 5am tomorrow.  Unless the wind is blowing south when I wake up...then forget it.

The only thing on the bunker today was the bunker boats from the northern states.

it looks like I will be out there no matter what Chris.  My Uncle will be down around 4:30  to be out early.

The wind was out of the NW today and the bugs are starting to pick up so bring the spray.

It has to start sometime this week but when in anybody's guess.  I won't be able to be out on Thursday so that might be the day of the week to target.  Right now it looks like I will be out on Friday night and maybe pull an all nighter, I'll see what happens.

Joe, I saw the bunker boats even down in our neck of the woods.  It looks like they were around the 3 mile mark though.  All I know is that the schools are huge.
