Had The Carmine Litterio Charter aboard today for a day of Striper Fishing. 4 Man Charter today.
With the afternoon not an option with the weather we set off nice and early hoping for a Good Morning Bite.
Got up North and seen a Loads of Bunker made a Bunch for Bait but had no takers on the livies. Was heading up to the rocks to when Capt Mike was nice enough to give us a ring to let me know of of bite going on. ( Thanks again)
Made the steam and as soon as we put the baits in the water they all got blown up on... Landed 2 Nice fish over 30 lbs including Carmine the Charter Masters personal best at 39lbs.
Got back on em and the guys landed a Couple of More. We got One more shot where got a couple more bites and landed one and then the bite completely stopped.
Headed to the rocks for a few drifts getting a few more bites and adding two more to the box.
Guys decided to mix it up a bit and we headed to a rock pile along the way home. Adding a Couple Dozen Seabass and a Few Ling to the Box As well as releasing a 1/2 dozen Nice Blackfish and a couple short cod during the short time on the drop.
Headed back to the dock beating the rain and wind in making for a real Nice day.
By days end the 4 man crew Boxed up 7 Stripers to 39lbs along with 24 Seabass and 3 Ling.
First time Carmine and the Guys were on the Fish Monger and they had a Great time. Lots of fun to have aboard laughs all day. Looking forward to having you guys for their Fluke trip in Aug.
