« on: July 01, 2007, 08:31:05 AM »
Just woke up and saw that it was a beautiful day, grabbed some dunkin donuts, and now im on my way down to fish the tip of sandy hook. Surf fish that is. Alright, i will be back later with a report. I will have my NJSaltwaterfisherman.com shirt on for good luck. Later all.

I was out there as well with my shirt on.  I didn't see you .... That was prob my last trip since the tip is blocked off due to the piping plovers.  Fishing in 8-10ft. of water on the sections still open is not my thing. Of course, I am still new to the area so maybe I don't know of any good sections to fish that are available.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

Just got back, long day of fishing, but wasnt the best day of fishing. Ended up keeping 2 fluke, one 17 inches on the nose, and the other 17 3/4 inches. Caught 10-15 shorts, few skates, and plenty of sea robins. My NJSWF t shirt was in the wash when i woke up this morning, didnt realize i didnt put it in the dryer. I couldnt wear it  :(. Will have pics of the 2 fish up when my sister comes home i dont know how to put these things on the computer i forget. All in all, 2 keeper fluke, and i have 2 of the fillets on the grill with some lemon, butter, garlic, and bread crumbs as we speak.  t^ t^

Good man.  I'd fish with you any time.

If you want to try IBSP one day give me a call a couple of days before and We'll drive out there.  I have a beach buggy pass it makes for some easy fishing when you can drive right to your fishing spot.

HAppy Catching.
