6-9-Rain, Wind, and No Fish
« on: June 09, 2010, 09:28:37 PM »
Thought it would be half way decent Striper conditions tonight at dawn.  Some rain (actually ALOT  cfzd) some wind ( just the wrong direction  nosmly) but no fish.  Have a dozen clams still to show for it.  Maybe tomorrow night....  Good luck to everyone else for the new moon.  Hope your luck is better then mine.  Just wish i would get that one keep this year.

The trouble with fishing is it was better before you got there, and after you left.

Hang in there Brian...My uncle has yet to catch that keeper this year as well.  We were out early this morning and nothing.  We did see 1 blue and 1 short caught at the inlet but that was it.  About 5:30 this morning a large pod of dolphin went by ans I told my uncle there goes the fishing.  When you see a large pod like that the other fish just scatter.

I am going to try to be out there Friday night for a few hours.  I don't know if it will be an all nighter but I have to try at least once more this New Moon.

Happy Catching

Paul

Like Dennis said, keep tossing your line and you will eventually get your keeper. In the mean time, enjoy the times you are out as there are many others who can not even do that.  t^
