Shark River 6-14
« on: June 14, 2010, 08:31:45 PM »
Broke the inlet by 6 AM and found bunker right away.  Made bait pretty quick and off to some of the spots that produced bass over the past weeks.  NADA, not even a sniff.  continued North to a few other spots, anchored and starting chunking.  Final tally was 4 bass landed, smallest 17 lbs and biggest 33 lbs.  Kept one and released the rest.  Bass played with the bunker for 5 or more minutes before taking them.
Two bluefish hits which just cut the bunker in half.  Tried a couple spots for Sea Bass on the way back, all shorts.  Nice day on the water.  Guy with me is still learning and missed several good run offs but his luck should change since after that a sea gull dumped a full of load of s**t on him!

Good job Dave.  t^

I saw you on the interstate as you were going home. Saw the NJSWF sticker on the back of your truck. I waved as I zoomed past you.  TT^
