Raritan Bay MON 14 FLUKING
« on: June 14, 2010, 04:50:44 PM »
Left Keyport at 6 o clock, headed for the REACH CHANEL;water nice and clear, flat as a pancake, drifted the chanel edges, all shorts and not a single blue fish  5hrug  moved back in towards K BURG PIER, still shorts, headed to bouy 11a,picked up two keepers,a nice fat 21" and an 18" still no blues. clp Tried a few more drifts in the BOUY 1 area, all shorts around 16 and 17 inchers.all in all a great day on the bay.And I did not lose a hook to the BLUES.

I agree with Nick 100%.Nothing better than a stinky blue strip to set off a flukes appetite alarm.
