Had Johnny O's (From the Fishermans Den) Charter Today for another day of Bottomfishing. Billy, Joey, Frank da Mayor, Cheech, and Charlie rounded out the crew.
Started out drifting some local junk and had a nice pick of Keepers on our first 2 spots putting 40 Nice Keepers in the boat.
Headed off to another area and picked a few here and a few there. Anchoring conditions were no good but was a Nice day to drift hoping around picking away n looking for a Good load.
Made a Move and when we setup our next drift da life was real good... Mostly all keeper seabass started coming up and some real nices one with many in the 2 - 3 1/2 lb range.
Power drifted along and worked this area and a couple of others and cont to slug away at some nice size keepers.
It didnt take long to fill the cooler up and by 1 pm the guys were limited out. Checked out a couple of other snags for next time and called it day back to the dock for another day with lots of filleting to do!!!
Again today most of the fish that were keepers were nice quality size and well over 12 1/2 in.
By days end the guys boxed up 150 Keeper Seabass ( a 6 man Limit ) up to 3 1/2 lbs by 1 pm along with 6 Ling... Also threw back a bunch of blackfish and some short cod.
Johhny O and crew were tons of Fun and loads of laughs. And that what a great sandwich they brought!!! Looking forward to seeing the guys again Fluking and Blackfish.

Been an awesome spring for Seabass!!! We are Currently filled for the rest of the month. Just a few days left in July and Aug for Fluke Seabass and Blues so give a buzz if you looking to get out!!!
