This report is from Darren Stiles who ran my boat Friday am.  Great job with just 2 man crew!

Joe T.

Took joes boat out with friend joe tilton of neptune. Left SRI 3am fri. Morning. In nice calm ocean. Punched in gps and off we went. Headed offshore to the shark grounds and found powder blue wate with whales, turtles and baitfish. Sharked into the afternoon with no runoffs.Decided to hit a wreck and found cod and pollock waiting for our baits. As the sun was starting to go down we headed to our second location to spend the nite. Shark rods set we started to get the bluedogs. At 10pm the reel screamed and after a long fight I sunk a gaff into a bluefin that hit a shark rig with a bluefish fillet.the bluefin was in the 70 pound range. Faught bluesharks through the nite. At 5:30 am a mako in the 100 pound range was released. At 730 a nice mako came in easy and the flier was sunk and the shark put to rest. Back at the scale at 1pm saturday afternoon the mako weighed 165 pounds. Great trip for us and lots of good memories. Pics to follow
