« on: July 03, 2007, 06:59:31 PM »

Paul my morning wasnt so great.

Met my father and his buddy at The Tackle Box around 730 this morning. Got some bait:Squid, spearing, and some sand eels, also a package of Gulp squid. Went off to the point to do some fishing, caught about 8 fluke, all shorts in about 40 minutes then got kicked off the point because of the endangered species birds. We walked across closer to the bay to where we were allowed to fish. We were there from about 9:00 until 4:00 caught about 8 short fluke, and 2 keeper fluke, about 30 sea robins. The 2 keeper fluke were both at 17 1/4 inches. Got windy later in the day and it started drizzling. All in all it was a slow day and it was to bad we got knocked off the spot that I do best in. My father and his freind still had a good time. My step brother did too, as he caught a few crabs and sand crabs and kept them in a box and brought them home. Yes the 2 blue claw crabs were keeper size.  ;D

Until next time, happy fishing!!

P.S No pictures due to my sister sleeping at her freinds and having the camera there.  :-\

Way to go.  You did better than I did today.  It turned nasty in a hurry this morning.
