Little Egg Inlet Area
« on: June 14, 2010, 11:52:31 AM »
Does anybody fish this area and along the beaches of the southern part of LBI? If so I would just like to stay in touch and share reports. I'm new to the site and go out almost every weekend and have yet been able to hook a striper!!! I wonder if they are still in this area. I've been good at catching skates and shorties though!

the fluke are good inbetween the channels, but the crabbing is the best.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

im out and about in the area every weekend myself, didnt have to good of a showing for stripers this year, or atleast that i have found a lack thereof.

current goals are fluke and seabass, if i happen to come across bunker or what ever i'll runover and give it a shot, but have yet to even see a bunker pod this year.

we'll be out there in the morning drifting the bay for fluke with a trip out to the reef for some seabass after the tide change.

feel free to give a shout, i usually have the radio on 68, till the bs gets to be to much then i duel monitor 16 and 22a
