Made a morning trip wih my son Pat (bent twig) on his boat along with his buddy Bill. Made our way out under semi foggy conditions and ran into a nice pod of stripers busting bait on top.
Played the ususal edge game avoiding those boat operators who seem determined to grind up the surfacing fish with their props. Managed some decent bass on 5" swimmers.
Once we lost the tide we headed for an area reef and worked it for a slow pick on the T&W with the best trolling fish coming in at about 35".
I'm still not on the water enough to be really dialed in which is killing me. Hopefully I can manage more days on the salt soon. I really miss fishing several days a week and putting clients on fish. Maybe by the end of summer.
