Raritan Bay Fluking 7/2
« on: July 02, 2010, 05:45:04 PM »
out of Sayreville this morning around 6 with John and Ben on board.started out fishing in front of the train bridge with a few shorts caught.moved out to the triangle area and decided to move up in the channel on the NY side as no NJ keepers on board and we all had our NY saltwater license.I limit out pretty Quick, getting my 2 NY  keepers, one at 23 inches and another at 22,get another nice size one that sort of forces me back to Jersey to fish.where another keeper is boxed and we move up in the reach where another goes in the box.caught a lot of fish today that were at the 17 inch mark and quite a few just missing the 18 inch mark.finally I get to contribute after not putting any in the box over the last few trips, able to get 4 over 20 inches, final boat tally 6,great day on the water, great to see some quality fish caught today in the back.headed in around 1:30.   Kez

Nice job on the flatties  t^
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
