had mike the hook aboard for a quick trip. hit the seagrit reef early. managed a few seabass (one nice knucklehead). went close to shore and managed only 1 keeper fluke @ 20"...many shorts. oh yeah, Mr. skate, Mr. robin and Mr. smooth dog paid us plenty of visits!
We were in by 1230hrs.

We had similar action on the Axel with a handful of seabass, though no fluke... not to mention a BOATLOAD of skates and bergalls... 5hrug

Yea very tough in our area Joe, I was looking at my log book, last year it did not pick up for us until the second week of august fcp Just in time for the end of the season  :P
