Drew and I Broke SR inlet on the 11am mark and grabbed a quick report from Tackle Box Joe who said he was just ourside theinlet and not doing much. We headed north for the deep water off of Deal once again. We were greeted by a small fleet of boats and the Party Boat Gambler out of Point Pleasent. If Capt. Bobby Bogan is fishing in a certain area thats a pretty good indication there are keeper fish around. Started with a slow drift which picked up as the day went on. It was a slow pick but we managed 2 boxer flatties at 20 and 21 inches and a nice humpback SeaBass. We made one move later in the day to 50 feet of water just north of Asbury park. Capt Joe of the Irish Ayes seen us on the move and gave us a call ( Joe I have to slow down to hear, I do not have that 4 stroke luxury)
We managed a few shorts trying to stay on bottom with 8 ozs of lead, and the Parachute out
All and all A GREAT 3 DAY weekend on the water
