Fish Monger 7/13 Wind Rain and Slow Fluking
« on: July 13, 2010, 10:20:05 PM »
Headed out for another day of fluking... Bob Bates and Cool Hand Al were back for another along with Eric the Mortgage Man , Steve, Bill and Tom O.

Headed out in what appeared to be nicer conditions... Not much wind but still some swell... Got up to the grounds and the drift was very fast with a Little breeze and current making it speedy. Bounced around a Bunch of Spots but only could manage 1 Keeper

Headed inshore and there was some better life until the wind really started Cranking... More shorts But a couple nice keepers.

Then mother nature put an end to us... More wind the drift became unbearably fast... then the skies opened with a some heavy rain and lightning.

Called it an early day... had a bumpy ride in and was welcomed home by a very nasty inlet!!!

We wound up with 8 keepers and a couple of seabass and we were prob lucky to have that!!!

Cant all be slam dunks!!! Better days a coming!!!

Crew was a blast despite the crummy day!!!

Thanks again Guys!!!

That slow fluking is for some great fluking.. for example for me  chrz
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
