Dock rope

 Seems to be different opinions about what kind of rope. Most seem to recommend nylon. Anyone agree or disagree?  slt

I use nylon for it's stretchability (is that a word?) and it is the double braid for strength.  t^

Twiste nylon or single braid for the stretch factor.
