Crazy day, I caught about 40 fish today (3 hours) on the top of the outgoing with the wind for a fast drift from Green marker 7 (near Clark's) to the channel markers near the 35 bridge lots of fish but no keepers (the 1st time this year) I was fishing buck-tails white or chartreuse with with gulp and a trailer hook 16" behind or 12" above baited with Killies. Hands down Killies were better but I talked to a guy at the ramp with 3 guys that fished gulp on buck-tails and spearing on a teaser hook he said he had over 100 fish boated and 7 keepers and he went through 5 pounds of spearing so get lots of bait. If you don't care how big and only how many the kids will have a blast. High tide is around 1pm perfect for sleepy teens. I stopped by the -------- on the way Nice shop friendly people I usually go to Pells but I forgot I needed bait so I went to --------. It was a nice shop they even have enough room behind the shop to make a u turn or park a big trailer behind the shop. As a point of interest I was using Mustad Lazer Sharp 3/0 circle hooks and not 1 fish messed up.
