100LB propane tank
« on: June 19, 2009, 11:32:56 PM »
I know this might seem like an odd selling item here, but I thought someone might have use for it.

Looks to work fine, valve open and there is LP inside.

I have no use for it as it would be an eyesore if I used it for the grill, and plus it has INTERNAL threads and my grill is external.

Landlord told me, "you can use it or get rid of it" So here goes!

I am trying to attach pictures but they are too large. I will resize them and post them.

From what I can tell it seems to be about half to 3/4 full.

I do not know how to measure the gas in a 100lb tank. Anyone? I can physically move it so its not full.

The only way to know how much propane is in the tank is to put it on a scale to find the gross weight.  Then you need to subtract the weight of the tank alone.  Of course, this requires you to know how much an empty tank weighs.
