Our options were to stay close to home and pick at short fluke or go off shore for some bluefin action. We decided to head out on Saturday after my son received a report from his friend who did well on Friday. My son's Joe, Dan and there friend Bill broke the Barnegat inlet at 5:00 and headed out. Got to the fishing grounds 7:15 and there was plenty of life. Lines in and 20 minutes later fish on. A 45# BF, Nice. Trolled for 3 hours without another knock down and than bang a 14# dorado. I believe the boat traffic kepted the fish down deep. Overall a great day on the water.
