Raritan Bay Fluking 8/10
« on: August 10, 2010, 06:56:08 PM »
Ben,John and myself out of Sayreville just before day break this morning, head out to Flynns Knoll and have a good drift going, stay in a long drift with the incoming thru the Chapel Hill Channel getting lots of fish missing the mark, but we put 2 in the box on the first drift, stay here most of the morning with lots of fish but no more for the box.late morning made the move to the TC where we continue catching a lot of fish with many just missing the mark. Finally Ben gets a nice fattie that goes 23 inches and near five lbs.finished the day here and headed in around one.great day on the water with lots of action today but still tough putting a sizeable keeper catch together.    Kez

Lots of action and some meat for the dinner table, not bad.  t^

Hard to put a bunch of keepers together.Favorable wind and tide, great baits, every conceivable thing that's positive to catching fish, and it still ain't happening.

My dad was out today with similar results, lots of shorts and 3 keeps.  He fished the SP and around the hook.
