I was not to sure what to expect for sea conditions today so I pushed back todays start time 7:30. Today it was Brian and Wilson doing a tag team on the seabass. We started out the trip by making a longer run to an area I had hoped they would be snappin at after the east blow. The seas were very fishable but a little bumpy when running to the south east.First few drops we put a few keepers in the box but it was a slow grind at best. A few nearby moves produce a few more keepers and great bergal bite. Decided to change areas and found what we were looking for. Nice steady action on quality fish. The guys had some nice stuff and a lot of variety today. They finished a short day with 40 keeper seabass to 2.75lbs, 2 15" tog,7 small blues, and one fat ling in the cooler. They released plenty of short tog and seabass and also 2 20" codfish. I was just happy being able to get outside after the blow and the two experienced anglers wound up putting a nice box together. Still some slop and ground swell but as long as the wind stays under 15mph it should be fishable the next few days.
