YSA 8/14
« on: August 16, 2010, 12:45:39 PM »
I was at my spot past Ambrose as the sun rose. Pretty snotty getting there, and greeted with 3-5's. Couple drifts w/10oz to hold. The usual cruise ships, tows, freights coming thru pushing it to 4-6's. Got out of there, the incoming on Flynn's knoll was much flatter and produced 1 drift with 5 fish, 2 on at once, that was fun. Couple drifts near SP and TC; got downright packed, moved up the reach red side 10-12-14 picked shorts everywhere mostly on Gulp NP shrimp, Gulp yellow mullet was working too.
Back by 9, Big BD BBQ,need time to prep.

I was in some of those spots a little later, but didn't venture to Ambrose.  All shorts on Gulp, but got some keeps on big peanuts.

good try, 10 oz is tough fishing, but you got to do what you got to do?
