Fluka Brasi 8-21 Fluking -late report

Well.. the good news.. the boat is back up and running!  Left Keansburg about 0630 with my regular 1st mate Dave, and after a few minutes making sure the boat was running right,  headed out to Ambrose and set up our 1st drift away from the fleet.. Had the usual buffet items.. Spearing, Peruvians, Squid, and a variety of Gulpage..  Picked a few short Fluke and C-bass, and finally a nice keeper C- Biscuit.. Bounced around (literally,  with the east wind and outgoing tide combining to create a nice washing machine effect) picking a few shorts, before finally a nice 20" flattie ate my bucktail.. Continued to work the area through most of the outgoing, but only managed 1 more keeper, before we'd had enough of the agitation cycle, and moved back into the bay. :P  made stops at the Knoll, the Bug, TC, etc..picking at shorts and birds,  but never saw another keeper.. Headed back to the barn by about 3 with a only few groceries, but glad to have Fluka back in action  t^  chrz
