Started off a little windy and ended very nice. Today it was a great 3 man charter from Pa. The guys were a blast and ended up with a nice box at day end. We were forced to stay close and pound the short fish for a few hours due to the North winds and sloppy chop. They hammered away boxing a dozen just keeper seabass, 1 porgy, one tog and a keeper weakfish along with loads of shorts while we waited for the wind to fall out. As the winds layed down we tried a blackfish drop but only had a slow pick of short fish. 11:30 with the seas laying down it was time to seabass. A few stops had great life with a handful of keepers mixed in. A short move put the 3 anglers on the money with a great bite of quality bass. Top fish were 2 nice 4 lbers. Plenty of 16" plus mixed in also. At 2:30 we called it a day with 55 keeper seabass,1 tog ,one porgy and 1 weakfish on ice for a very large bag of tasty fillets.
