Another fine day on the seabass grounds. Conditions were great with flat seas and light winds. You could hardly notice any ground swell all day long. Today I had a 3 man charter of Jim SR and JR and Scott. The Jim's had said they never had a good seabass trip before, well they can now cross that of their list. The fish were not biting on every piece today but when you found them you could hammer away. Some real nice quality with mostly 14" plus stuff. Not much else coming up today other than nice looking seabass. At 1:30 the guys said the had enough fish with 63 seabass on ice and left them biting. Wow room in the cooler and a few fish under the limit and we left them biting for a nice short day. A real nice day with some great guys. I was laughing all the way in as they showed each other the blisters on their hands from reeling in so many fish. Shorts ,tee shirts and a large box of bass. IMHO just does not get much better than that.
