Hunter 2 9/2/2010 Fluke/ Shark got one

[Hunter 2]

Pulled out of Keyport with my brother John today at 10 A.M and head for the 42 buoy area of the Ambrose channel. We had a couple of hits and I pulled in a nice 24" 5lb Fluke. Then I pulled in another nice sized fish but John was alittle late with the net as I tried to keep it near the boat it shook loose. The tied hit low and the drift died down a bit. John pulls in a dogfish and some shorties. We made a move to Coney Island for some short Fluke and searobbins. It was getting hot so on the way in we hit a hole between shwinborn island and Romer shoal. I get a few hits and hook a fluke, John goes for the net 'a bit slow again"  As IM keeping the Fluke boatside a 4 or 5 foot Shark takes a nice bite out of it and takes off fast .
  We called it a day around 3pm.  Very hot out today. We had only 1 keeper, A few laughs and sunburn too. Good Luck,, Eddie

Good day Eddie,actually caught a fluke a couple years ago with the back end chewed off,wasn't the best swimmer but able to chase and catch bait.      Kez
