Adios Flatties...Hola Bottom species... 9-6-10
« on: September 07, 2010, 03:16:27 PM »
well its transition time... headed out on the last day of flukin with LAB, and Orlando....

Fluking started off MAAAAADDDD slow as it has been... caught a few shorts and had enough... had the right bait on board so headed for some inshore ruff bottom and picked away, releasing, togs from 2-8 lbs... kept 3 for Orlando's Familia dinner....bite could have been better as we bounced around on a few pieces most of the day...Togs are tuff fish which we handle with care at all times so we have no problem catching and releasing them....

Fall fishing is shaping up to be a good time with Sea Bass, togs, porgies, and ling now on our menu for good times on da water....  slt

If you do as well as you did with the flattie you will have a fine bottom fishing season. Best of luck.  t^
