Sea Hawk weekend fluke recap and 9/7 bottomfishing report
« on: September 07, 2010, 06:16:49 PM »
The last few trips for fluke were pretty tough. Some trips had pretty good action, but all were slow in the keeper department. Pool fish ranged from 3 to 6lbs.

Monday we had a very small crowd and managed 11 keepers for the boat. A few had 2 and high hook had 3.

Our big fluke of the year pool goes to Jack for his 11lb doormat caught in June.

Today we headed out and started at the reef. Made a few drops and picked away at the porgies and seabass. Made a move elsewhere and the wind really started to blow. Caught some more seabass and some keepers blackfish. All in all a fairly slow day especially later with the worsening conditions.

Pool fish was a 3.25lb seabass.

Thanks for the report Capt.Mike,  I was near you on Monday by the hook and saw Mike-Gottog way up front.

Yeah, you saw me end the fluke season not catching a keeper rgmn  Shorts I had weren't even close 5hrug

Guy to my right had 3 keepers, behind me had 2, couple others with 1-2.  Was far from good with about a dozen keepers.  i think that's the report Capt Mike meant instead of Sunday it was Monday.  I think he's kinda happy fluke is over thud
