Was out today on fishfools boat to do some bottom fishing. Left LEI around 7:30 because I didn't wanna get out of be this morning. Headed to GSS reef. Started of slow picking a few fish here and there. The bite turned on around 2:00 and it was drop and real till 4:00. Ended up catching around 70 seabass kept 14 for the table. Caught and released 2 fluke. Of corse they know the seasons closed thats how they found my hook.
All and all a great day on the water. only one other boat around all day. Can not wait to get out again. Bring on the stripers.
