SSP Saturday 9/11/2010
« on: September 11, 2010, 10:37:38 PM »
After being skunked at the Canal, the boys wanted to Surf Fish and play at the beach.  So we loaded up in PPB around 5:30 or so and headed south.  Got onto the beach around 6:00 PM.  Tide was coming in, wind was light and the beach was packed with people fishing.  Tossed some metal for about an hour, boys took turns reeling in.  I have never seen that many people fishing in September like this.  People setup every 25 yards or so.  I HATE being mugged.  Didn't see anyone bring anything in.  Kids had fun...fishing, running in the wash and rolling in the sand fcp!  I had fun chucking and winding.  Caught our second skunk of the day!  It was a great day out fishing though.  I didn't expect anything, since I haven't put in my time this year...

I have some pics, I have to find the cord to the camera since the memory card died on me today.  All the pics are on internal memory!

It all depends...I haven't been able to do any fishing at all this last year.  I usually fish the magics hours + a couple, when I do.  I can't do that when I have the kids though.
