Conditions on the Raritan this coming saturday
« on: September 30, 2010, 04:55:23 PM »
It's been over a month for me due to family and business, and due to the damned weather.  I finally get a chance to head out this saturday only to read there's 4-7' seas!  I'm still in my V20 so I am not messing around with those type of waves.  What will the conditions be like around Keyport/Perth Amboy and is the fishing looking ok around there for blues/stripers?

On a sidenote I am beginning the Grady search and financially ready, so hit me up if you know of any out there in the 25-28' range for sale.
The cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears, and the sea.

how much do you want to spend.  How old do you want to go.  Even with my Grady, you wont see me around the hook this weekend.  Upriver for me
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

Check with South Paw. He had his 25 Grady up for sale.

Can't really comment on the conditions inside the Raritan. Check one of the wave/surf sites. That 4-7' prediction may be ground swells and not a chop.
