Jig/Troll 10/9
« on: October 10, 2010, 03:00:24 PM »
Late start on Grillo's Grady wih Chris, Paul, Brandon and Jake. "Da Tank" rounded the Hook and head South. On intel from Jiggmaster we stayed tight to the beach and looked for birds. Lots of birds, only thing under them was Blues. Jigged and trolled our way down to the Red Church where Christine jigs up a 12" weakfish. Kiss & release; marking TONS of life but few takers, nothing of the striped variety, only the yellow eyed tackel chompers. Nice ride back, got choppy with the NW still blowin near the Hook. Great day except for the lack of target fish, Thanks Paul!

Back out in an hour for another jiggy try; I think the bite is @dawn & dusk. We'll see...
