Had Jmurr Joeys Charter aboard today with an all star cast... Maureen, Theresa, Dav Tats, His Bro Tim Tats, and Sportsfishusa Vinny aka the Canyon:D
Was slated for a Porgy Trip but with the great seabass fishing of late we Decided to start with that.
Got set up and had sebass flying pretty quick pace... Some Real Nice size and quite a few double headers!!! Pounded away at them on a few different small pieces putting 70 Keepers in the Box before the bite slowed up.
Decided it was time to look for some porgies... Only a few at our first couple drops... current was terrible... but we put some crabs on and caught a few nice blackfish getting 1 for everyone to take home.... Tats lead the way with a Nice 5 lber.
Cont our search for porgs and it took a while but we finally found some nice hungry Porgies. Fished two drops and Put 67 porgies and another 20 nice seabass in the box.
Also released some fluke and a nice winter flounder to round out a Nice Mixed Bag!!!
Joey Put together a great crew!!! Loads of fun... As always the Girls Held their own and caught them as good as the guys!!! Pleasure having The Tats Brothers on Board and even Vinny caught a couple of fish between Miller Lights and talking about the "Canyon":eek: Oh and Jmurr even got a few sea robins and bergalls for his philly stew to bad we could produce the pouts:p
By days end the crew boxed up 90 Seabass to 3lbs, 67 Porgies, and 6 Blackfish to 5lbs for over 160 Tasty treat for the cooler!!!
