Vessel Deployment Slated for the Shark River Reef Nov. 23

The NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has announced that a 58-foot trawler has been slated for deployment November 23, 2010, on the Shark River Reef site, located 14.8 miles east of Shark River Inlet, as part of the division's Artificial Reef Program.

The target location for the deployment on the reef is: 40 06.500'   73 41.300'. Commercial fishers who have gear in this area must move it or risk having it destroyed.

The target date for deployment is subject to weather and sea conditions. For further information regarding the deployment of the vessel contact Hugh Carberry at 609-748-2022.
