Due to the fact that my son's school bus got into an accident (fender bender), I had some driving to do this morning so I got off to a little bit of a late start (8:40) which was okay because we didn't see any birds or bait when I rounded the Hook. By mid morning there were so many birds I didn't know which flock to follow. Hooked into some shorts and blues. Marked some nice fish but had a hard time getting them to bite. Seas started getting real sloppy. Fished for another hour and called it quits when the waves started breaking over the bow. All that for 1 keeper... looking forward to the weekend..maybe do some bottom fishing.
