Fished NJ just about all my life. In 5th or 6th grade I wrote a small book titled Fishing in NJ. Not much really, I was only trapping and fishing the Raritan River in Bridgewater at the time. Since then I worked part-time at Efinger's in the fishing dept. for 13 years, and worked part-time fishing and camping dept. at Sports Authority for 2 years. I've fished bass ponds in Sussex, and the Hudson Canyon for tuna. I love it all, fresh, salt, ice fishing, crabbing, clamming, inshore, offshore, long range. I'll try to help when I can, for me it's:April, May, June: freshwaterJuly, August: crabbing, boating, swimmingSeptember, October, November: saltwaterDecember, January,February: saltwater/ice fishing Don't hold me to this ! There is Fishing, and there is Fishing in New Jersey, a diamond in the rough. The wife is a former State Record Holder for Brown Trout, figures she catches the big fish, she caught the fish, I gave her a wedding ring...............AndyS
