What else can I say? The variety of life inshore is spectacular. Fish busting water and birds diving everywhere you looked from Belmar to Longbranch. Blues, albies and stripers EVERYWHERE!!
The bottom bite for porgies and blackfish was nothing short of amazing all day Friday. Plus fluke and blues (all released). Easily limited with porgies and an easy limit of Blackfish in less than 20 ft of water right off the beach. Had our 2 fish limit in the box and a few shorts within the first 5 minutes of dropping down a few greenies.
With about 20 minutes left in the day I had enough with the porgies so decided to drown a few crabs. SICK

Blackfish bite! They were wolfing down whole greenies the size of your palm.....the kind of bite you can only dream of
. Within minutes 6 keepers (all released) including one of 5lbs & 6lbs.
