Sea Hawk recent reports
« on: October 26, 2010, 03:51:27 PM »
Saturday's bass charter was quite slow.  Went to bottom fishing for the end of it and managed a pick of porgies.

Sunday we just couldn't get the porgies going for us.  Couldn't escape the seabass and was hard watching some nice 3-4lb ones released.  Some true jumbo winter flounder as well.  Shame. nosmly  Some blackfish did make their way over the rail and pool fish was a 3.5lb tog caught by Willie, one of our regulars.

Today was slow again for the porgies compred to what it's been.  Some spots infested with nice seabass as I think they know it's still safe for a few more days.  Tog'n was ok with the pool fish at 5lb.

We are carrying green crabs and clams.  Monday we'll be able to keep seabass again but they'll probably all have disappeared by then. rgmn
