anyone know the best way to catch your own eels for striper bait?

Set out traps similar to commercial crab nets.

Put your kille pot out over night with just a little bread in it in the morning you will have a handfull of dead killies and if the creek is eeled up you should have plenty. Use a kille trap because only perfect sized bait eels will fit in the hole. Especially if the traps out on the high
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

 Not sure,, I have caught eels in Killie traps, I was not targeting eels.
