Goin to give the surf a go on the hook tomorrow....any bait suggestions anyone?...or should I go to IBSP?

From what I gather.. I can't see how you can do worse on the hook.  I also think the hook is a better place to fish Clams..  More clam beds up there t^

anywhere you go.  let us know how you make out t^

If fishing bait, having both clams and bunker would be a good choice.   Best of luck.  Hoping to hear a good report from you!

I know your not on now but you might want to try bucktails.  It may sound crazy bit I know a couple of guys that are pretty reliable say they have been starting to catch.

Its a hook with a lead head and bucktail (hair) tied onto it.  Comes in different colors but I like white and red this time of year.

If you are used to metals go for it.  But it sounds like most of the action is top water so if you have plugs like a popper I would lean towards that.
