Headed out for another day on the Seabass Grounds... Steve Seneff aka Njtunaman, Tony loveshislabs, Suzanne, Bill, Bob and Uncle Paulie rounded out todays crew.
3rd day of seabass bass fishing since the re-open and our 3rd day with great fishing an a Limit of Biscuits !!!
Started out local on a real small piece... machine was lit up with life... started picking at some good size ones and then the darn dogs took over. put 25 or so in the box before we evacuated.
Made a Move and drifted next piece for another 25 or so... then anchored on a piece close by and caught some more along....
Moved a little deeper and just drifted on small pieces that had the fish stacked on them...Loads of action... Get a super blast lock n load... then move n find another pile.... tons more shorts here but plenty of nice keepers up to 3 lbs for the box!!!
Drifted around until the box was full with a limit.
Also had a Couple keeper Cod, Few Keeper Blackfish, and a 1/2 Dozen ling to spice up the catch...
Left for home and ran into birds diving... Great readings we got 2 stripers, 1 was a keeper and a bunch of blues before they were gone... great way to end the day!!!
By days end the crew Boxed up 150 Keeper Seabass to 3lbs, 4 Keeper Blackfish, 2 Keeper Cod, 1/2 Dozen Ling, a Keeper Striper and some Blues making for a nice mixed bag!!!
