striper fishing southern barnegat bay help
« on: November 05, 2010, 07:23:39 PM »
always fished for stripers in the ocean in the fall. friend wants to try the bay, the ocean's a bit rough tomorrow. any advice on locations, and bait, tackle, etc. I figured chumming with clams, and it's daytime fishing, so any advice, tips, etc would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to use clams, try anchoring just outside the channel and chum with whole cracked clams and a chumpot over the side.

Good luck! t^
