I use my normal deck boots and triple up on the warm socks  fcp

Rick,I use lace up waterproof thinsulate boots, the ones I  wore fishing NY with you,I wear these on the off shore trips when temps in the single digits and feet stay warm and dry, picked these up at WalMart for under $40.      Kez

I prefer rubber bottom / leather top hunting type boots. Better support and more comforatble than regular deck boots IMO.

I have a pair of LL Bean's for spring and fall and a pait of Lacrosse for hunting, winter fishing and ice fishing duty.

Have worn Viking Boots for longer than I care to remember......have a nice felt type linging, I wear a light pair of Poly Pro socks with Wool socks over them and the Tootsies are warm as toast.

Another good boot I wear while hunting is the Boggs Boot, neopreen rubber and extremely warm

I am looking for a pair of boots that won't scuff a deck. What Viking model is the best for that and warmth?
Thanks

I wear insualted Pac boots from Sportsmansguide.  Very comfortable to stand in all day and waterproof.  All I wear is one pair of wool socks and feet are always warm.  They have black soles but have never left a mark on any deck even when dragging my feet in tog-defeat cfzd

Toss in some "Toastie Toes" foot warmers, same thing as the hand warmers just a little smaller. <'((((><

I just pick up a pair of these, very comfortable and warm. Best pair of boots I ever bought.

I second the Mucks.  I could never find a comfortable deck boot until I got a pair of the Muck Cikanas from my wife this past Christmas.  I love them! t^
