My 4 man charter was canceled yesterday due to rough seas.Capt Frank Masseria thanks for making the call !
Back up plan was to head out with Lee for a few hrs yesterday but Lee called me Fri night & we both at the same time said lets go out when conditions are better.So we canceled.
I woke up at 3:20 am yesterday and starting talking to myself.
I said it's going to be a nice day heck even If I don't catch I will still be on the water.
Left my house at 4 am.
1st stop DD for coffee.
I arrived at the Atlantic Highlands at 5:15 am.
Put my rods in the stern of the Fishermen.
The sun started rising & I knew it was going to be a nice day.
At 7:30 am we left the dock & Capt Ron searched around.There was a very big swell.Even with the Big swell it was fishable from a party boat.
I caught a short Bass right away and after that I landed my first Keeper that had a Tag in it.I cut the tag off & tomorrow I am going to call & see if I am the Million dollar winner
I jigged my arse off & landed another 5 shorts & 1 more keeper and I can say I got the fix I needed
