Lady Di - Fishing 11/19
« on: November 19, 2010, 06:17:13 PM »
Had a free day today and asked some of my buddies to join but they said they had to work (work??).  Left Highlands with a wicked west wind, white-capped bay.  A little better once i turned the corner around the hook.  Was planning on jigging, but the marks i saw were scattered,so I settled on pulling tubes. Did see some bird life and some bass breaking the surface.   Hooked up a 31" bass in the first hour and a 33" soon afterwards.  Decided to give the jigging a try since I had my limit, but no luck.  Once again the weathermen nts were off their mark... wind didn't die down to 10-15 -- blowing 20 most of the day..  Calling for 30 tomorrow... think i'll wait for Sunday..

I know, that thing called work always gets in the way.  Nice catch and fresh fish for dinner.  ;)
