I decided I really needed to see the Ocean today. It's been two weeks since I was on the sand.
No truck, so it was a walk on trip.
Arrived just after low tide. Water was good...mostly clean, little bit of current, some white water, but not rough. Wind was less than 10 knots WNW.
Spent about 2 hours fishing an area of just shy of a mile. Skinny metals with green tails and a sandeel teaser.
Ended up with 3 fish. 1 keeper size and 2 shorts. Dropped another short in the wash. The 3 shorts were on consecutive casts
Felt good to get out and even better to get some good action.
