Leonardo/Atlantic Highlands area loses a LEGEND
« on: January 07, 2011, 07:38:33 PM »
Capt. Fred Coles of the Freddy C. Party Boat passed away today around 5:30 p.m. in the hospital.
this was after back surgery due to a car wreck.
I fished with Freddy and had some of the best tuna trips of my life with him....and shared many stories and cocktails at the local atlantic highlands watering hole as well...thank you for what you taught us about fishing.

slt ...Rest in Peace Captain....May you find Fair Winds and Following Seas in your next Journey... :'(
Capt. Carl DiMenna

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

My condolences on the loss of your friend Carl.  I fished on the Freddy C a couple of times, years ago.  But I never met the captain.
