hit the hardwater today,got a call from a friend asking me to do some ice fishing.scrambled to get my gear ready and we were off to lake hopatcong.we fished in the state park,there was 5-6ins of clear ice.wind blowing 20-25mph.set up the tip-ups in 6-9ft water.we had 4 flags.caught a 3lb.largemouth and one crappie.better than staying home.nice to get out on the ice early this year.
